“Monochrome” with a wink. Why with a wink? Because monochrome paintings are officially only 1 color and gold, silver & copper is a mixture of several colors. But we see / experience it as 1 color. The edition consists of several different sizes of paintings in which special paint and the 24 kt. gold, silver & copper leaf are central. Gold leaf consists of an alloy with one or more other metals such as titanium, silver and copper. A piece of gold is rolled for as long as a wafer thin sheet remains. This sheet is then cut into square pieces. The gold, silver or copper leaf is then applied to the canvas in several layers, so that nothing of the canvas is visible.

The "Never Seen Before Collection" was born out of curiosity about how the world came to be. Dinosaurs were the 1st creatures on earth as far as we know. They were big and powerful, but nevertheless disappeared from the world. These should not be forgotten. The funny thing is that we have never seen one in real life only in movies or as a skeleton. It's amazing how the world has changed over millions of years. We no longer recognize many animals from then as we know them these days. This collection shows the splendor of these animals through large unique life-size sculptures covered with 24 kt. gold leaf.
